Refund policy
At PLATA, every piece is crafted from 925 sterling silver and held to the highest standard of quality. We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. Please read our policy carefully before placing your order.
1. Return Window
You have 14 days from the date your order is delivered to request a return or exchange. After 14 days, we are unable to accept returns unless the item is faulty or damaged.
2. Eligibility for Returns
To be eligible for a return, your item must meet all of the following conditions:
- Unworn and unused — apart from trying it on
- In its original condition with no scratches, damage, or signs of wear
- Returned in its original Plata packaging
- All tags and accessories included
Items that do not meet these conditions will not be accepted and will be returned to you at your cost.
3. Non-Returnable Items
The following items are strictly non-returnable:
- Sale or discounted items — all sale purchases are final
- Items purchased using a promo or discount code (store credit may be offered at our discretion)
- Custom or personalised orders
- Items that have been resized, engraved, or altered in any way
- Gift cards
4. Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you by email. If approved, your refund will be processed within 7–10 business days via your original payment method:
- Bank Transfer: Refunded to the original account used at checkout
- Cash on Delivery orders: Refunded via bank transfer — please provide your account details when contacting us
- Card payments: Refunded to the original card (may take an additional 3–5 working days depending on your bank)
Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
5. Exchanges
We accept exchanges within 14 days of delivery, subject to stock availability. If your preferred item is out of stock, you will be offered store credit or a full refund. To request an exchange, email us at support@plata.pk with your order number and the item you would like instead.
6. Faulty or Incorrect Items
If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery. Include your order number and clear photos of the item and packaging. We will arrange a free replacement or full refund at no cost to you. Claims raised after 48 hours may not be eligible.
7. Return Shipping
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty or incorrect. We strongly recommend using a tracked courier service — Plata is not responsible for returns lost in transit. Shipping fees are non-refundable.

8. Order Cancellations
Orders can only be cancelled before they are dispatched. Once an order has been shipped, it cannot be cancelled — please follow the standard return process instead. To request a cancellation, contact us immediately at support@plata.pk or via WhatsApp.
